Once a policy has been sold you can bind/disposition the policy accordingly. Clicking “Bind” will prompt you to enter the policy amount and the issue start date of the policy.
After saving the policy will be marked with a “Bound” status. The bind button on the work it screen will also be greyed out.
On the date that you marked as the “Policy start date” the policy will be marked as issued. Often, the active date of the policy can change. You can adjust the original policy issued/start date directly on the policy screen.
